The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has introduced a new mobile app, AIR Idaho, to provide users with information on current air quality information. In addition, the app offers a three-day forecast including when the air quality may deteriorate and if there are times when the air quality is expected to be better, current burn restrictions, and tips on ways to stay safe during smoke or inversion events.
The app displays data from more than 30 monitoring stations across the state. Users may download it for iPhone and Google Play.
If your state is interested in a similar effort, see more information here.
